Welcome to my blog on Salsa and Reggae! For my Musical Investigation, I will be comparing the two genres Salsa and Reggae. For each genre I will show  the music's history and what exactly it is. I will show where and how each genre is used, and also the style of the music. I will describe the instrumentation used in each genre and include videos to help show the sound the instrument makes and the way it is used. I will also include videos of music from the genre to help the viewer hear what the genre sounds like. Once I explain each genre separately I will then compare and contrast each of them, showing the differences and similarities between instrumentation, history, and styling.
